           I have been doing PT and small group training with Kier for years now! He is the best PT I have ever had, and I have tried a few! Not only is he motivating but he listens! Sometimes being a counsellor as well as a PT. He is always pushing me to do better and is such a great guy! If you are looking for small group training or 1-1 PT then look no further! He's the best!

           I have never been someone who enjoys the gym, I also dislike running but health &amp;amp; fitness is important to me.

           I initially joined small group training Kier ran &amp;amp; fell in love. They were engaging, every session we did something different, it was challenging in strength &amp;amp; fitness &amp;amp; before long I started to notice changes in my physique.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           Before lockdown I took the plunge &amp;amp; started 1-1 PT sessions &amp;amp; I have never looked back. I am continuously learning about the balance of life, nutrition &amp;amp; training.
          &#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           Kier is the most friendly person ever, he works with your lifestyle &amp;amp; together you can start to achieve. I am now lifting weights I once thought were for body builders! I am growing in strength &amp;amp; fitness, my knowledge around nutrition is improving &amp;amp; so is my physique.

           I have been working as a 1-2-1 client with Kier for a number of years now, with the primary aim of improving my performance in hockey. Since working with Kier my strength, speed &amp;amp; stamina have improved, &amp;amp; this has translated into results on the pitch.

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I have noticed changes in my physique &amp;amp; have a better understanding of nutrition &amp;amp; the importance of recovery.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           Had I been asked several years ago I would not have considered working with a personal trainer, but since working with Kier I am in the best shape of my life &amp;amp; wish I had started sooner!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           At the start of my journey, I felt horrible about myself. Fast forward a couple of months and I've learnt so much in terms of nutrition with Kier and I love meal planning now, eating cleaner and getting to grips with what and how much I need to eat to achieve my goal.
          &#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           I really enjoy my PT sessions &amp;amp; Kier gets to know his clients and their strengths and weaknesses to coach them better. He's definitely my friend as well as a PT. I now do bootcamp on Saturday mornings which also challenge me. I've now also maxed out my weight I have at home and exceeded my expectations in terms of strength.
          &#xD;

           My experience with Kier so far has been 10/10. Kier’s sessions are always technically sound and physically demanding but what myself and I think a lot of the other boys find is that he makes them enjoyable. Having a likeable and personable S&amp;amp;C coach makes it easier to want to work hard and meet the demands of Kier’s more intense sessions.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In the past through my involvement with Swansea Academy, Wales regional etc. our S&amp;amp;C coaches are less interactive and more outcome based in the sense that they set certain exercises to perform and leave you to it. Kier on the other hand is great at identifying and working with smaller focus groups and delivering meaningful and scalable sessions and specific exercises.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           From a fitness point of view, my muscular endurance has significantly increased since the start of the season. I now feel faster and more explosive throughout the course of the whole 90 minutes rather than just the first 45 and falling off in the second half, which is what happened frequently toward the beginning of the season.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Not only that but my psychological approach to strength and conditioning has improved, the enjoyable and purposeful sessions delivered by Kier has left me feeling more determined to continue this type of training. I’d 100% recommend training with Kier. He has the knowledge to build from step 1 or improve performance for the more intermediate and advanced athletes. He has provided position specific training for me from which I have seen significant benefits within my weekly performances. So without a doubt I’d recommend training with Kier.
          &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           All the praise in the world for the technical coaching and performance side of training but aside from that it has been a pleasure working with Kier so far from a mental side of things. His positive attitude inside and outside the gym makes it so much easier to want to work hard in his sessions, which inevitably leads to better development and benefits on the pitch.

I have found the training very beneficial on and off the pitch through aspects like strength, speed, and power. I really recommend Kier if you are looking to start improving your training due to the knowledge he has and the improvements I have made since working with him.

           I’m finding S&amp;amp;C with OlsenFitness very beneficial for my performance in football. Sessions are specific to the position I play and how developing certain movements and muscle groups can help me as a player. This is different to a lot of other S&amp;amp;C coaches I’ve worked with because Kier focuses on us in small groups made up around the position we play.
           &#xD;

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           My biggest gains so far from sessions have been the amount of power and strength I’m feeling in my legs. As a winger my off the mark power has rapidly increased and it's helping me get the best out of my performance.

            Without OlsenFitness I would have never thought I would be fit and fast enough to play premiership hockey as it was 4 leagues above my previous club. Kier has helped me train smarter and much more progressively than I would have done on my own.

One year on and my fitness has improved drastically, and I’ve seen a steady weight loss. Kier has taught me so much about training and weights, when I would usually stick to cardio in my workouts.            You’ve had a hard day at work, a busy week, a stressful meeting, got stuck in traffic, whatever it may be, it’s made you think there’s nothing worse than heading to the gym right now.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           One of the biggest barriers to progress is procrastination, and justifying excuses around it. Trust me the majority of people feel this more often than you think!! Most people just let another day slip by and blame their lack of will power. Here’s how you can avoid that…

           Spend 4 minutes doing the do (I’ll explain in the next paragraph) and see how you feel from there. If you really don’t feel like it, you’ve given it a go and aim to get back on track asap.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           But here’s the magic, 9 times out of 10 you’ll start and probably get into it, more so you’ll probably feel really good about it afterwards. Here’s and example of doing the do…

           Getting Your Workouts Done
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Spend 4 minutes getting your gym kit on, warming up, or getting in the car to go to the gym. Then decide if you’re going to continue or not.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You can basically use this method on anything you’re putting off, avoiding or procrastinating around! Trust me it makes a huge difference.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Out of 10 gym sessions you might miss, if this method gets you to the gym on 6 occasions then that’s a win for me!

      <title>HOW DO WE MEASURE YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING RESULTS?</title>

           Achieving results like this is an incredible feeling!! BUT…Having before/after pictures used online and social media at OlsenFitness is not a requirement as it is in so many other coaching and diet companies.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           At OlsenFitness the results are measured on way more than what clients body fat percentage is, although that’s obviously an important aspect. So many times I’ve had messages or conversations where someone has said “I’d love to join up but I just wouldn’t want before and after pictures put online” and that will never be the case at OlsenFitness.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The photos I use are often from where clients say it’s fine to use them as we’re looking at old photos. However sometimes we don’t even do that!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I encourage all clients to take photos at different stages, but always tell them that I don’t have to see them, that’s down to whether they’re comfortable for me to.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           On the flip side a lot of people do like using before and after pictures and if it’s cool with them I’ll 100% celebrate their achievements!
           &#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            ﻿
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

           But incase you were wondering, here’s other ways we measure success other than before/after photo progress…
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;

            More energy to do the things clients want to do in a day around work
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Higher levels of confidence
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Elevated levels of fitness and enjoyment around training/being active.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            A better relationship with food
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            Use a Saturday or a Sunday to have a weekly meeting with yourself - sit down and write out something as simple as, what went well, what didn’t go so well &amp;amp; what are you going to do differently this week to make things run smoother.

    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Stick to a routine that works best for you and try not to compromise on that. Find working out in the morning is good for you because it’s done and out of the way, stopping you from deciding you’re too tired later on? Keep your workout to the morning! Give yourself every chance.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Plan your meals in advance, you don’t necessarily have to food prep but having everything in you need and knowing what you’re cooking that night is so much more beneficial. This stops you popping into tesco on the way home when you’re starving and going overboard when you could eat your way through the aisles!
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Get the support of your family, partner or whoever you live with. Bonus points for getting them onboard with making these changes along side you. You’ll always work better as a team or with someone’s support.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Have clear back up plans and rough rules. For example try to not miss sessions earlier on in the week if you’re struggling to fit them in. As the week goes on you’re only more likely to put them off. So always start the week off on the right foot!

    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ol&gt;&#xD;

           You know the drill by now, you sign up to a coach, a diet, a gym, an app, you get a training plan and told how much you can eat. Guaranteed results right? Wrong.
          &#xD;

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Imagine this, you get in the dream body shape over a few months, but there’s a catch…At the end of it your social life is terrible, you haven’t seen your friends and family for months. Your relationship isn’t quite how you’d want it either and so you feel a little isolated.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You’ve followed the routine blindly and now at the end you’ve realised you don’t know how to keep the results you’ve achieved.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           You've trained hard and had the food you were told but you didn’t address any of the real issues that maybe got you to the point you wanted to get out of. Confidence still isn’t there, your relationship with food &amp;amp; training hasn’t changed and you’ve not addressed anything else like sleep, stress, lifestyle, limiting beliefs or knowledge.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           For most people the answer is a resounding no!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            I’ve avoided using this word for years but at OlsenFitness the approach is way more holistic than just a training plan &amp;amp; nutrition plan. The level of coaching I go into makes sure no stone is left unturned. Body shape isn’t just the only focus. Instead

      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           we look at making someone feel the best version of themselves across all three areas of health. Physical, Mental &amp;amp; Social.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           I’ve been lucky enough to be nominated for 9 different awards to this point for the level of coaching and results I provide. From local awards to being nominated at the UK wide award “The Great British Entrepreneur Awards” in Mayfair, London. All of which is still pretty mind blowing to me as that’s something I never set out to achieve.”

            This year will be my 10th year as a coach and business owner, running OlsenFitness!!
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           I often get asked about what exactly I do, so here’s everything, some of which you may not have knew about me or OlsenFitness. I’ll also post a few more bits you may not know in the coming weeks…

            I work half of my time with Weightloss, Fitness &amp;amp; Health related clients. Helping clients become happy, healthy and confident whilst teaching them how to sustain their result
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            I spend the other half of my time working with sports clientele from grassroots to international standard. I’m passionate about providing a high level of S&amp;amp;C (up to professional &amp;amp; Olympic standard) to people who don’t have that offered at their club and want to realise their full potential.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

            I’m also lucky enough to have built up a great network in and around the UK of fitness professionals including physiotherapists who refer clients &amp;amp; athletes to me for strength and conditioning post rehab.

      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;

           The next goal for me at OlsenFitness is to make OlsenFitness the leading community in South Wales for anyone wanting to improve their physical, mental &amp;amp; social health whilst achieving their physique goals!
